think that having DAYS of warning in advance of the biggest
hurricane ever that some douche
in the government would have thought "Gee, maybe
we should actually prepare in advance for a huge disaster
that we can see coming a mile away!" Totally fucking
inexcusable. I still can't believe the devastation. It
looks like a nuclear
bomb was dropped on all these cities that are now
totally wiped out.
What pisses me off even more is that most of the people
stuck in New Orleans are poor and black. America still
treats its black people like shit, yet loves
to pretend it doesn't. You know all the rich folks got
the fuck out of there as soon as they could, but not everyone
owns a car or has a place to go. I don't know if I'd even
want to leave my home. I don't think I could. This whole
fucking thing reeks of dirty diaper politics. What the
hell would happen if there was another natural disaster,
dirty
bomb or terrorist attack? Shit. Would it take a week for
help to arrive? Half the people that are dead from this
hurricane could have been saved if rescue teams arrived
earlier. They were left to rot for almost a week. I thought
that after 9/11 a whole bunch of government fatties said
it was a wake-up call and a trillion dollars was spent
to prepare the country for huge disasters just like this
one. Where the fuck are those billions of dollars going
that were supposed to have made us ready for crap like
this? What
the fuck is wrong with this picture? The fucking president
was still on vacation for three days after the largest
natural disaster in American history. Condi
was shopping for $7000 shoes in NYC days after. America
is being flushed down the toilet by a bunch of incompetent
morons.
These days you have to choose whether or not to buy food
or buy gas. Things are that bad. Worst presidency ever.
I haven't been this pissed off in a long time, but it's
nothing compared to the way the people who lost everything
must feel.
